Mother Says She Didn't Hurt Her Infant Daughter

A not guilty plea was entered on Wednesday from a Lexington woman charged in connection with the abuse of her infant daughter.

Police arrested Nena Taylor on Tuesday afternoon, charging her with two counts of wanton endangerment.

Taylor's two-month-old daughter, Jada, was hospitalized with serious injuries, but was released from Kentucky Children's Hospital on Wednesday morning.

Police also charged Taylor's boyfriend, Reginald Vann Phifer, with assault. They say he beat the baby's head against a bed post and tried to smother her.

Taylor returns to court on November 13th for a hearing.

HE NEEDS TO ROT IN JAIL, I'M TIRED OF THESE ANIMALS BEATING AND KILLING OUR CHILDREN AND NOTHING IS BEING DONE ABOUT IT. THESE SO CALLED PARENTS ARE ALLOWING IT TO HAPPEN, AND TRY TO ACT SO INNOCENT WHEN THEIR CAUGHT.THERE REALLY NEED TO BE STIFFER PUNISHMENTS ENFORCED WHEN SOMETHING LIKE THIS HAPPENS. STAY OFF THE DRUGS AND ALCOHOL AND TAKE CARE OF YOUR KIDS.

In my opinion, this woman is just as guilty as the jack*** who tried to kill this baby. That's what it was...he intended to kill this little girl.Like I said in a post about this before, she knew the kind of man he is before she left the baby with him.Truth be told,he probably slapped her aound a few times, too,so she knew what kind of monster he is.They both should be charged with attempted murder.

If I remember this correctly, the baby was injured two days before she was taken to the hospital. I have seen a baby's head after it suffers a skull fracture, it swells up and the baby is pain from the swelling! Where the hell was she for 2 days? She might have not inflicted the injury, but she failed to get her child prompt medical attention. She's guilty as sin.
