I think with all the comments that I had read. There are some that have lost sight of the whole picture. It has nothing to do with who make more money at their job or where one works! The main point is that a wonderful woman lost her life. No one knows what Kathryn was thinking when she decided in a split decision to turn on a red light. We will never know what was going through her mind. If you all knew Kathryn half as much as those of us who loved her, you would know that she would not do anything..ANYTHING to ever cause harm to anyone. We are all hurting with the loss of our loved one and to come on here and read the hurtful things that people say...IT HURTS. Shame on each and eveyone of you. I pray that you never know the hurt that we feel. And to read the heartless comments is like reliving the moment they told us she had died. May this tragedy be a lesson to EVERYONE who drives, use caution, take your time, and look twice when you are driving. Don't let Kathryn's death be in vain.

I'm so sorry for this family's loss and agree that it was simply an accident that could happen to any of us. I did almost chuckle at Toyota wife's post about truckers. Sure, both vehicles cause accidents. But do you really think your hubby is making more at a plant than the OTR truckers bring in? I know workers in both fields and the trucker could buy your hubby and resell him. Calm down.

I'm not here to judge. The media tells us what they want us to hear. We will never know what made her make that split second decision and now she has lost her life. Instead of bashing her or the other employees if anything can come out of such a tragedy learn from it! Everyone not just Toyota employees! Take a moment! That moment might just save your life. Slow down!! We all are guilty of making mistakes were just lucky enough to be alive to tell about it. God, bless her family and help them through this time of tragedy and sorrow. I will be praying for the family.

According to the Georgetown News, the accident happened at 3 pm. The sun , at 3pm is to the rear of that intersection, so the sun was in noones eyes. The pictures of the wreck show the car was totaled, so the truck was moving at the speed limit. Proud, you need to go onto that road and watch. You'll see what a few of these people are saying. If i have to do buisness on that side of town, I avoid that road at all cost, preferring to take 25 instead. It's safer, and noone is tearing up pavement trying to get somewhere. On Cherry Blossom, even though I have the green light, I've had toyota workers pull out in front of me like I'm not even there. No, I don't want to work for toyota, either. I don't like contributing to the economic downfall of the American automobile industry.

You know what, you all do not know who this person was or anything about her. So therefore don't you dare judge her or her driving. She got off at 3:00 p.m. and this happened at 3:05. So before you assume she thinks she owns the highway or she needs to leave earlier...investiagte a little more because people like me, who know her personally don't want to have to read these stupid and rude comments because you all don't know her at all. She was a good person with a good heart. Also, don't act like you have never ran a red light. You know, maybe it was yellow at the time and she didn't know how long it had been yellow and decided to take it, maybe she had to be somwhere and was running a little late and was thinkin, "Well i can make it." So if you want to make a rude comment about her or anybody else maybe you should think you before you state your opinion. Thanks.

Bill, Have you EVER stopped to think about how many accidents semi trucks have and cause everyday? How many are caused by them on I-75?? I couldnt count the times MY HUSBAND WHO WORKS AT TOTOTA has been late for work because of a overturned semi ect!!How many times do pieces of semi truck tires peel off and go flying through the air and cause accidents? and you have the (edited) to say that they think they own the road? Let me tell you something TOYOTA workers work HARD and very long hours afterward! I am sure she didnt think she owned the road she had a TERRIBLE accident and LOST her life as a result! You are JEALOUS because you wish you worked at TOYOTA then you could make the money that they do not to mention everything else they get! Instead you ride around and sit on your big trucker butt all day. My husband or anyone else at TOYOTA does not think they own the road,BUT HE DOES MAKE ENOUGH TO OWN JUST ABOUT EVERYTHING ELSE WE WANT! How many times do you all fall asleep? GOD BLESS HER.
