Driver Escapes Injury In Barrier Crash

An early morning accident in Lexington could have been much worse.

A car, traveling on New Circle Road, crashed into the cable barriers, near Nicholasville Road.

Police say none of the wire was damaged, however, some of the poles were leaning and will be checked later this morning.

No one inside the car was hurt.
