Murray Military Police Company Leaving For Deployment

LEXINGTON, Ky. (AP) - A Kentucky National Guard unit leaves Murray on Sunday for eventual deployment to Iraq.

The 438th Military Police Company also served at Guantanamo Bay in Cuba.

The 136 soldiers trained in law enforcement will train for three months at Fort Dix, New Jersey, before being deployed to Iraq.

A ceremony marking the unit's departure will be held Saturday morning at Murray High School.
