Teen Fights Off Intruders At Business

A frightening encounter for the owners of a Frankfort dog kennel, when burglars break in overnight.

It happened at Animal Resorts on Louisville Road.
The owners have an apartment in the basement of the kennel.

The owner's teenage son came home, just after robbers broke in. One of them hit the teen in the head with a flashlight. He fought back. A guard dog also attacked one of the men.

Little did the robbers know, the son had been training for a toughman competition. The teen suffered only bruises.

The two robbers got away with animal medicine.

Animal Resorts just had their grand re-opening last week, two years after a fire killed eight dogs.

uh...okay....good for the teen fighting back, but what in the world did the robbers need animal medicine for? Is that something new?
