Father And Son Found Dead In Mine

A father and son are dead after they went missing in an eastern Kentucky mine Sunday.
Emergency officials in Harlan County say a lack of oxygen caused the deaths of 41 year-old Ricky Dixon and 19 year-old Kevin Dixon.
Police say the two went inside an abandoned mine in Harlan county Saturday just off highway 221.
Officials say they were looking for scrap metal inside the mine.

I know this family, and I had met Kevin several times. For anyone who has anything rude to say about it, these two men lost their lives; so how about some common courtesy, decency and respect? Kevin has a 5 month old son who will only know his father and grandfather through pictures and videos. The pain and suffering that this family is going through is tremendous. No matter what the consequences were, these two men are gone! As any kind-hearted human being should do, be considerate and bite your tongue if you have anything rude to say! Before you start slinging insults, and criticizing these two men, think of the people who are hurting in this situation. Also, you don't know the circumstances surrounding this situation. So for those of you who just have to throw sarcasm out there, grow up. For those of you showing your respect, thank you so very much. Thank God there are still some kind people left in this world!

Common sense should keep ANYONE from entering an abandoned mine portal.
