Man Wanted In Connection With Church Burglaries Is Behind Bars

An eastern Kentucky man wanted for months in connection with church burglaries in Jackson County is behind bars.

Roger Smith of Clay County is charged with several counts of receiving stolen property over 300 dollars in crimes involving at least three church burglaries and one auto theft.

Smith is scheduled to be arraigned December 4th.

Four others charged in connection with the church burglaries have a pre-trial conference the same day.
