Woman Hits Invasion Suspect With Skillet

Lexington Police are searching for two men wanted in an overnight home invasion and attempted rape. The victim who lives in the apartment on Alexandria Drive fought back.

Lexington Police say two men forced their way into a woman's apartment overnight, and tried to rape her.

When the two men came to the woman's apartment, they asked for her husband. When she told them her husband wasn't at home, the men forced their way in.

The woman was able to reach for a skillet and hit one of the men in the head with it.

The two men ran away. One had a head injury.

What ya needed was a baseball bat, a rolling pin and that fry pan and you could have knocked out all three. Thrown a blanket over their heads and if the woke up just clonked them again until the police arrived

Now this is a story worth reporting! Serves the SOBS right. I just wish you'd have grabbed a knife and sliced their things off! Then they wouldn't be able to force themselves on innocent women anymore!

How about NOT opening you door to thugs and how about NOT informing the thugs that your husband is in jail.

You go girl! I hope he has a headache for a long time. I hope they find the two men and put their pictures on a bill board through out Kentucky and they have a frying pan on their heads. I am thankful you weren't hurt and even worse. Good thinking on your part.

Have the police checked the hospitals for men with skillet injuries? Cast Iron Skillet: the .45 Magnum of skillets.
