Eastern Kentucky Man Killed In Single Car Collision

DORTON, KY -- A 45-year old Eastern Kentucky man was killed in a single car collision Saturday morning on U. S. 23 near Dorton in Pike County.

The Kentucky State Police report the victim was Timothy Hall of Wheelwright, also in Pike County.

According to the accident report, Hall was northbound on U. S. 23 about 7:30 a.m. driving his SUV when he crossed the median, struck an embankment and overturned. No information was released in the accident report as to the possible cause of Hall's crossing the median.

Hall was pronounced dead at the scene by Pike County Coroner Russell Roberts. The accident remains under investigation by KSP Trooper Melissa Hampton.

KSP Trooper Johnny Slone, the Dorton Fire Department and the Shelby Creek Rescue Squad also responded to the accident.

    My dad went to school with timmy he will be missed by all.. AND yeah wheelwright is in FLOYD COUNTY

    Sorry but Wheelwright is not in Pike Co. It is located in Floyd Co.
