Morehead State Professor To Enter Rehab

A college professor from Rowan County won't be in court for several months because according to court officials, she's checking into a rehabilitation facility.

Noelle N'Daiye was supposed to appear before a judge today on charges she endangered the welfare of her infant daughter.

She's accused of smoking crack with the baby in the car.
N'Daiye is an assistant professor of government at Morehead State University.

She'll be back in court in May for a check on her progress.

I really wish that people that is judging her for what they have heard little of on tv and newspapers would really know her. She is not just a person that thinks that she can get away from the legal system. She also loves her child very much. She may have a problem with an adiction and that does not make it right what she did. However to slam someone that you have never even heard of before is completely crazy. I know that doing drugs is wrong but you also do not know the amount of lives that this professor has changed. I have never done drugs myself, but I do know other people that have and it does not make them bad people, if it did then half of our politians would not be in office! That is just some food for thought.

Ralph, didn't you know they call any stupid behavior a DISEASE these days just to get away with it?

Wow Paul, I didn't know smoking crack in front of your small child was a disease? When did irresponsibility become a disease?

I agree with Joey. An ordinary citizen would go to jail, now wouldn't they? I know she needs help, but I seriously doubt she is going there for help-I think she is doing it to avoid going to jail.

I wish you the best Noelle on your road to recovery, and hats off to the rowan county courts for acknowledging your disease and allowing you to enter rehab instead.

I don't think she should be allowed to dance her way around the charges...yes she needs rehab but she should be punished first. I have an infant daughter and a mother should be willing to lay their life on the line for their child..not willing to endanger the well-being of and innocent child. I don't understand how anyone could be in a mind-frame that would allow them to be so careless and selfish when it comes to their children. You shouldn't have children if you aren't willing and able to make your life revolve around them.

She will be more careful where and when she smokes her crack from now on.

I didn't know she was a Hollywood Star and could check herself into rehab to avoid jail time? Why are people allowed to do this? She should be in jail.
