Football Player's Father Pleads Guilty

A man charged in connection with a fight during a Garrard County High School football game pleaded guilty Monday.

Witnesses say Kirby Thompson rushed the field during a Garrard--Wayne County football game and hit a football player, but an assault charge was not filed.

Thompson plead guilty to disorderly conduct. He'll have to pay more than four hundred dollars in fines and court costs.

Well, at least he is getting some form of punishment. How can we expect our children to handle issues like little adults...when the adults handle issues like little kids. This kind of adult ruins youth sporting events and sets a very poor example for the youth that witness such stupidity.
