School Bus Wrecks Without Any Children On Board

A school bus driver wrecked early Tuesday morning, but luckily it was before he picked up the first child.

It happened on Highway 1087 in Knott County around 7 am.

School officials say they don't know exactly what caused the accident only that it happened in a sharp bend in the road.

School officials say the bus driver was taken to an area hospital for a precautionary check.

Officials say the students that were supposed to ride that bus were picked up by a substitute bus driver and taken safely to school.
