Black Friday Shoppers Crowd Kentucky Stores

The madness is underway as shopper clogged stores across Kentucky on Black Friday.

Bargain hunters lined up across Kentucky, staking out holiday deals. Some were there as early as 11 a.m. Thanksgiving morning. 27NEWSFIRST caught up with a crowd braving the cold outside Best Buy.

For many the shopping frenzy started early. Some Lexington stores offered doorbuster deals on Thanksgiving day.

Black Friday can account for 40 percent of a Merchant's earnings, but it's not the busiest shopping day of the year. That day usually falls the Saturday before Christmas.

Target on Nicholasville Road did a wonderful job yesterday morning. Later on in the day there was a nice customer who helped me find some movies at the Target in Hamburg. I only have heard horror stories from black friday but overall my husband and I had a good shopping experience this weekend.
