FRANKFORT, Ky. (AP) - Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee will
speak next week at the Southern Baptist-affiliated University of
the Cumberlands.
Huckabee, a potential contender in next year's Republican
presidential primary, will be on the Williamsburg campus on April
5.
An ordained Baptist minister, Huckabee told reporters in
Mississippi on Monday that he is still months away from deciding
whether to enter the presidential race. He said it will be at least
this summer before he makes the decision.
Huckabee, who ran unsuccessfully in 2008, hosts a weekend show
on Fox News and would have to leave that job if he becomes a
presidential candidate.
Huckabee will be the headliner at a leadership event sponsored
by the University of the Cumberlands and the Forcht Group of
Kentucky Center for Excellence.
