Rockslide Temporarily Closes Road

Cold temperatures may have already caused problems for drivers on one eastern Kentucky roadway Tuesday night.

A rock fell on highway fifteen southbound near Carr Creek Lake left drivers trying to get by on the shoulder.

State transportation officials say weather plays a part in rock falls, especially when the thermometer drops.

The slide took about half an hour to clean up.

No one was injured and the road was completely re-open around eight o'clock.
