Richmond Man Arrested For Rape

Police in Richmond have arrested a man they say raped a woman inside her home.

It happened at an apartment on South Killarney Lane in Frankfort. Police were called out at around 10:50 on Wednesday night.

Police say 20-year-old Joshua Ryan Hughley knocked on the back door and his victim let him into her home. Police say Hughley had a knife and a gun and then forced himself on the woman.

Hughley has been charged with first degree rape and first degree sodomy. He's being held in the Madison County Detention Center.

I don't know why someone is pretending to be the rapist but to whoever wrote the message before this one that is a sick joke. The rapist confessed and took a sentance of 15 years and is not out nor will he be out for a long time. He deserves everything he is getting and more.

Hey Josh in Richmond: Even if he did blackout that night he still needs to be RESPONSIBLE FOR HIS OWN ACTIONS! If he did blackout. How did he get that way? Who's fault was that? Weather you remember something or not you are still responsible for your own actions. Maybe if more people would learn that things like this would not happen. (edited) he commited one of the worst crimes anyone can committ. I don't care what he's been through. Life's tough deal with it!!!!!!!

Ok, I know him more than anybody here b/c he is a family member of mine unfortunetly. First of all he's not 21 so he shouldn't be drinking to "blackout" in the first place. The whole rough life thing is a pathetic excuse, his older brothers are both college grads and wonderful people. He was never raised like this. He did wrong, and when you do wrong you must pay. It's simple as that people. I think he should be in prison, what he did was sick and twisted

he didnoy have a right to rape her just because he knew her.next time he might kill some one it sometimes hampen that way.and by they way you dont have a right to rape your wife if she is not willing. he should go to prison. if he did rape her.but that is left to a judge an jury.not us

Whom ever thinks its ok to stuck up for this "sick" rapist should themselves be locked behind bars. If he did it once he will do it agian! lets see how you feel when this happens to your wife or your sister or you mother. He should be raped himself and then locked away for the remainder of his pathetic little life.

First off buddy, learn to spell. The word is "through" not "threw." Secondly, what the heck do you mean "it was his other mind?" So does that mean he is innocent because he blacked out? Give me a break and quit sticking up for scum like this. I don't care what kind of life someone had; it doesn't give them the right to abuse others. Who gives a rat's hiney if she knew him. My neighbor's wife has known me for twenty years but that doesn't give me the right to rape her. Get a clue josh in richmond; your friend is scum and will eventually lead you down his twisted road.

The big bad boys in prison just love rapists. Good luck to you Josh. May you never go a day without some good old lovin' in the pen.
