Man Sentenced In Louisville Dragging Death

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) - A judge has sentenced a Louisville man to
five years in prison for his role in the death of a man dragged by
a car.
The Courier-Journal reports the judge followed the jury's
recommendations in sentencing Thomas Sewastynowicz on Thursday.
A jury convicted Sewastynowicz in October of reckless homicide
in the death of Anthony Graham. It cleared him of murder charges.
Graham died after being dragged by a car and striking a support
wire on a utility pole. Sewastynowicz, who was driving the car,
left the scene but went to police the next morning saying he didn't
know that Graham had been killed.
Sewastynowicz's defense said he became lost and stopped his car
to ask for directions and that Graham attempted to rob him and get
in the car.
