Lincoln County Man Arrested For Numerous Scams

False insurance policies, phony television cable, and fake phone services are just some of the scams one man in Lincoln county is accused of pulling off.

Police in Lincoln County first arrested a suspect for impersonating a state building inspector and collecting a payment from a victim but in the course of the investigation. Detectives say they discovered several cases where Jeffrey Adams misrepresented himself to scam his victims.

Adams is accused of operating fake companies like "state auto insurance" and "direct satellite communications."

He faces numerous charges.

Police are asking anyone have been scammed to come forward.
