Richmond Police Looking For Man Accused Of Raping Two Women

Authorities need your help finding a Madison County man accused of rape.

Richmond police are looking for 26 year old Jarrett Masters.

They say he attacked and raped a woman in his Ballard Drive apartment Friday, after luring her there.

Since then, a second woman has come forward, saying Masters did the same to her earlier last week.

People who live near his apartment say they haven't seen him lately, and they're not sure where he could be.

Police also believe he raped another woman in the apartment just two days earlier.

Investigators say Masters may be in a white Chevrolet Corsica with a person by the name of Cory with him.

Gee did 27 news know that the woman who introduced herself as a neighbor is in fact Master's girlfriend? Guess not. Well now they do know.As for asking for it, are you kidding? What woman asks to be violently violated? As a woman and a survior of rape let me tell you no woman asks to be treated that way. Rape is about power over another, not sex. I hope the reporter never knows the terror of rape, of not knowing if she will live to tell about it.Not to mention the fears after the fact, going out is a fear all by itself, then there is the ordeal of the exam after the assault. It takes courage to stand up and say hell no I want justice. I live in Richmond and have faith in the police that he will be caught. To anyone who knows Masters tell where he is your wives and daughters could be next.

I am in shock! I am sorry, but no one ever "asks" to be raped. I am sad that people in today's society have that mentality, but I am also amazed that was broadcast on the news! What happened to editing? Could they have interviewed anyone else? I pray that Ms. Fredericks will never find herself to be a victim of a violent crime.

I heard his family saying it's all a big misunderstanding on TV...and also saying the victim had went to the hospital for treatment and they hadn't seen her since. WHAT DO YOU THINK???? Do you think she'd come and hang out with the family of someone who raped her? That's just stupid to even think, much less say on TV. If he's so innocent, and it's such a misunderstanding, why won't he turn himself in and stop hiding? Because he knows he did something wrong and doesn't want to face the consequences of his actions. Too bad she didn't have a weapon and kill him while he was committing the act, that way we wouldn't have to pay for a trial.

I'm very disappointed in the newscast's coverage on this story. It amazes me how they pick the most ignorant person to interview in these types of situations! The girl they interviewed said that the victim 'asked for it'. What a moron. I only pray that she herself will never be in a situation of forceful rape. No matter how a girl dresses or acts, she doesn't deserve to be raped! Next time, pick a better person to interview!!!

I can't believe with his picture splattered all over the place that no-one can identify this guy. If you know him, turn him in.

This situation reminds me of an old song with the lyrics, "Take that rascal out in the swamp, put him on his knees and tie him to a stump, let the rattlers and the bugs and the alligators do the rest." That's what this guy needs!!!!!
