Armed Robber Holds Up Waffle House

The search is on for man who held up a Lexington Waffle House overnight.

An armed, masked man came into the restaurant on Stanton Way, off Newtown Pike, just before three Tuesday morning. He took off with cash.

There were reports that shots were fired during the robbery, however when police searched the area, they said no shell casings or bullet holes were found.

No one was hurt.

Kentucky police are thorough with their investigations. The only reason I could see as to why there were no bullet holes would be if the robber used blanks. A revolver would not leave shell casings. I hope they catch this guy.
