Bus Driver Arrested After Alleged DUI Crash

A Kentucky school bus driver faces charges after police say she was drunk on the job and crashed her bus.

It happened in the Olive Hill community of Carter County.

Police say 38-year-old Della Hoover was driving the empty bus on Kentucky 182 when she collided with a wrecker. Police say she left the scene of the accident.

Officers caught up with Hoover at the Carter County bus garage.

Neither driver was injured in the accident.

why is it that people like this get off with 5 years but people like me that let some one live with thim. That the person that lives with yougets a drug charge. You get the same charge to. And get 25 years in the pen or 5 year probation.when you didn't know what was going on.Or what that person was doing.

How about the supervisor over the drivers say hello to all in the morning and again after they return, if someone is intoxicated or on drugs we might notice this before these things happen. I can’t believe these people do this and drive a bus. How about putting some face time in with these drivers on a daily basis and deter some of these actions?
