Violent Home Invasion

A crime alert in Lexington tonight, after police say two men break into a home and pull weapons on the woman inside.

It happened around two this afternoon, at a home on Alice Drive, off Georgetown Road in north Lexington.

Police say the men were armed with a gun and a hammer, and made the woman lie on the floor while they ransacked the home.

Investigators say a child was also home at the time of the robbery, but say no one was injured.

I agree with you Jason buy a firearm for your protection but I laugh at the concealed carry permit. You don't need one at home and if you keep a gun in the glove box you are okay. The police only arrive after the fact in these situations, you are on your own until then. BOOM,BOOM......out go the lights!

With the number of home invasions and robberies, it looks to me like our right to bear arms should be exercised now more than ever. Law abiding citizens should look into the purchase of a handgun and obtaining a concealed carry permit. These criminals need a bullet between the eyes when they try to infringe our privacy and steal what we work our butts off for.
