Man Charged In Crash That Injured Trooper

A Richmond man faces a slew of charges after police say he caused a wreck that injured a state trooper.

Police say Trooper Toby Coyle was stopped in the Lowe's parking lot on South Boggs Lane in Richmond when a Ford pick-up truck hit his cruiser head-on.

The driver of the pick-up, Brian King, 26, is charged with DUI, having an open container and other traffic violations.

Trooper Coyle has been released from the hospital.

Worthless drunk, hope they lock him up forever so he can't kill anyone next time. I also hope Toby recovers, he's a good Trooper.
