Snow, Torrential Rain Expected This Weekend

FRANKFORT, Ky. (AP) - Highway crews were preparing roads across the state for the possibility of snow and ice this weekend.
Kentucky Transportation Cabinet spokeswoman Miranda Thacker says highway crews are pretreating roads in Paducah, Madisonville,
Bowling Green, Louisville, Covington, Lexington, Flemingsburg,
Manchester and Pikeville.
Meteorologists say there could be some freezing rain Saturday in
parts of central Kentucky and light snow across the state later in
the evening. Rain was expected in much of the state throughout the
day.
There are concerns about flooding as the precipitation will be falling on already saturated ground.
