Car Hits Apartment Building; Driver Charged With DUI

A car runs into a Lexington apartment Saturday, but police say it wasn't caused by the weather.
61-year-old Thomas Winkfield lost control of his car on North Broadway before running into the building not far from downtown.
Police say he was drunk.
Patricia Morman was inside the apartment that was hit.
She was not hurt.
Winkfield was taken to the hospital, then to the Fayette County Jail.
he's charged with DUI and leaving the scene of an accident.
The apartment suffered some exterior damage, but there was little damage inside.

    if this man gonna be drinking, he should have stay at home and then he can drink at home. he was just showing off think he can do better than any one else. I hope this learn him a lesson. He need a help to stop drinking. Before he get somone else kill or even himself killed. I know who this man is. He had a nice car but yet he had to drink and he wreck it. well, poor fellow, maybe he will learn his lesson.
