Big Day For The Salvation Army Christmas Center

It's a big day for the Salvation Army and the U.S. Marine Corps.

After months of collecting donations, families are dropping by to pick up food baskets and gifts at the Salvation Army Christmas Center on South Broadway.

The Salvation Army and U.S. Marine Corps Toys For Tots program, the Angel Tree program, and the Mountain of Love program have all come together in order provide for people who need a little extra assistance this year.

More than 600 children are being served this year.

In addition to toys, people will also be able to pick up food and food vouchers.

Families can go by the Salvation Army Christmas Center and pick up their baskets until 5 this afternoon.
