I writing this because of no recess in school the public schools. They think children should do nothing but learn, learn, which I am all for that, but they also need a recess in school. Please help me get the recess back in to the schools. Their are alot of parents that think there should be recess back in school and prayer. Children would be alot less hyper and do better and school. All the children gets to do is work, work, work. So, let's work together and get recess back in to our school's. I have three children in school and they would love to have recess in school. They say school is boring. School is not suppose to be boring but fun for the kids. My county is Carter County, Kentucky. Please help me get the RECESS BACK IN SCHOOL. Thank You very much. Michelle Ingles

the money doesnt need to go to help poor people, that is what got this state in the shape its in now. it needs to go to things that boost jobs and economy, not just issuing more meaningless disability and welfare checks. the poor need to take some accountability for themselves and stop being so lazy

Ky. is so far behind the rest of our nation we are complacent about our educational and financial shortfalls. Quick to anger slow to understand... such is the way of ignorance. Who has had a lock on our State legislature for decade's ? Democrats are to blame just as the idiots who line up to sell thier votes for a case of beer or a fifth of whiskey or maybe lil bit of "shine". Eight years of Anti-Abortion,Pro-Gun rights,Anti-Tax, Pro-Family has not hurt this State as much as the liberal mindless anti-american agenda has.... "nuff said... WAKE UP KENTUCKY!!!"

give me a break with all the Democrat/Beshear bashing. i hate high taxes as much as the next taxpayer but it's the stupidity of Republicans like George W. and Ernie and their spend, spend, spend philosophies that necessitate high taxes. if Republicans were actually fiscally conservative, I'd change my party affiliation in a heartbeat.

If casinos are going to help I will be more than gladly to vote. I would just as soon see someone gamble their money to benefit Kentucky as I would to give it to a Hoosier. Let's keep "our money" ours!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What are you talking about the "good ole boy system." Seems like that is what we came from to get into this mess. I don't think the Democrat governor could do any worse than the previous republican governor that we just got rid of. How can it get any worse?

Not too long ago I thought I heard we had lots of money to build this big "sports" building in Louisville. I personally think money should go to help poor people.

1st of all give the man a break! No one is perfect . I hope Mr Stevie and his wife do not rise taxes. If he does I will have to live in a box. Take some of Uncle Ernie's money to clean the mess he made not mine. I AM SICK AND TIRED OF PAYING FOR THESE DEAD BEATS WHO ARE LIVING BETTER THEN ME.
