Just another thug who would be in prison for a good part of his life anyway. While shooting is not the answer, the lifestyle of these "kids" probably reflect their parent's lifestyle as well.

17yrold from Lex gunned down out side the Pit in little old richmond. No way it happened like it did and he didn't do something to some one. No one around here has ever tryed to kill some one that young that wasnt involved in drugs and ripping off the people that were supposedly their "friends". Try to live like a G your gonna die before your 23.

It's very unfortunate that this happen. The Cherry Pit is no where for teens to be hanging out. They allow drinking, drugs and gambling in there. If they don't shut the place down, I could almost bet this will happen again. I think it is ashame that our young people don't have any where they can go to have fun, without having to dodge bullets. I will pray for this young man, I hope that he makes it out ok. People need to wisen up and realize that violence ain't the answer.

Lamar had been in jail for much of the past year. If I am not mistaken, he was released just a few days ago. I know a bit about him, having been one of his counselors when he was a juvenile. I pray he can make it through this and hopefully his mentallity and lifestyle will change

This is sad news to see someone so young dying from gunshots. However I don't know the circumstances but the assailant should have just beat him up instead of trying to kill him.
