Man Holds Up Hotel On New Year's Eve

Police in Madison County are investigating after an armed robbery on New Years' Eve.

Berea police say a man held up the Fairfield Inn on Paint Lick Road just before midnight.

The desk clerk says a man walked into the lobby, showed a handgun and demanded cash. He left with an undisclosed amount of money.

The clerk says the robber was dressed all in black, wearing a black ski mask.

There were no injuries reported.
