Murder Suspect Ruled Competent To Stand Trial

A Fayette County judge has decided a Lexington woman is fit to stand trial

Dana Gilliam is accused of stabbing her boyfriend, Timothy Roseberry, last year after an argument at the Eastland Mobile Home Park.

Gilliam's family says it was self defense because the couple had a history of domestic violence.

She's been found competent. She'll return to court later this month. A trial date is expected to be set at that time.
