Firefighters Rescue Worker From Billboard

A Lexington worker is safe after being rescued from a billboard.

The man collapsed while hanging a new ad on the billboard at Winchester and Walton on Tuesday morning.

His co-workers saw what happened and called 9-1-1.

Firefighters were able to get the man the man off the billboard and to the hospital.

He was taken to Saint Joseph Hospital, where he was treated for chest pains.

    Wanted to say thanks to the police and firefighters who rescued my uncle from the billboard on 1-14-2008 he is doing fine. GREAT JOB!!!!!!!!!!

    I just want to take this time to thank our firefighters and police officiers for the work they do. Also, thanks to all the service men and women who fights for our land. Thanks again. You all do a great job!!!!!!!!!!
