OLIVE HILL, Ky. (AP) - Two former employees at a McDonald's restaurant in northeastern Kentucky are facing charges alleging that one of them tried to poison the other's spouse.
Christopher Stephens is charged with criminal attempt to commit murder for allegedly trying to poison the husband of Patricia Renee Valandingham. She is charged with criminal conspiracy to commit murder.
Stephens has pleaded not guilty and a preliminary hearing is set for Jan. 23. His attorney did not immediately return a call seeking comment. Valandingham has not yet been arraigned, and it could not be determined who is representing her.
