Grocery Store Re-Opens After Fire

An eastern Kentucky grocery store is now open again after a fire late Wednesday afternoon.

Officials with the health department in Breathitt County, the Jackson City Fire Department, and the manager at Slone's Market searched the store for smoke damaged food.

The fire started shortly after 4 o'clock Wednesday in the store's kitchen oven.

Store employees threw away all the open food that was exposed to smoke.
