Teen In Critical Condition After Train Accident

A Bourbon County teen is airlifted to UK Hospital after his truck is hit by a train.

18 year-old Bobbey Rose was crossing the tracks at Houston Antioch

Road off Briar Hill Road when the train slammed into him, pushing the truck down the tracks and into a utility pole. Police say it appears Rose never heard the train sirens.

Rose is in critical condition at UK Hospital.

This is not the time to point fingers or lay blame. This is a time to honor and remember a beautiful person who was taken from his friends and family all too soon. Bobbey was loved by everyone who knew him and he will live forever in our hearts.

Jeff....I have heard that the train did not 'blow' the trains siren/horn whatever you want to call it, till he was right upon him....but all I can say is that we are going through enough and we don't need people on here making harsh comments toward Bobbey saying that it was his fault no matter what. He's no longer here to help back himself up, but his friends are and wishing that if you don't have anything nice to say...please don't say anything at all. It would be in the best interest for us...and you as well. R.I.P. Bobbey...we're all waiting to see you once again...Love you

Bobbey was a great friend of mine that I grew up with. He was the greatest guy in the world and he will never be replaced. As for Chris, watch your mouth. The good ol' boys from PKY aren't the ones you don't want to mess with!

I don't know who Chris is, but maybe he'd better check C.S.X.'s records. I know a former employee who quit because of pending lawsuits and safety violations. My prayers go to Bobbey's family and friends.
