Mike allen was my cousin. i didn't get to see him that much but i wish i could of had the chance to drop sports for once and spend time with my family. i didn't want to go to his furnal and see him laying in a casket. I had just seen him at christmas, he was laughing, holding his little boy and having a good time with his family. i felt like crying when i was talking to his mom and telling her that i loved her. I didn't even want to image what her, mamaw mary and the whole family was going through. But I've heard this pleanty of times, "everthing happens for a reason" but i don't understand why god had to take away another one of my family members. We miss you Mike Allen, along with bruce, papaw Jesse,J.T and more. :.(

Michael was my nephew.HE comes from a very large family and we all miss him terribly. He was a son, a brother, a father, a grandson, a nephew and a cousin. His precious little boy will have to go through life without his father, and that literally makes me sick. Death is hard for anyone, but when you loose a loved one at the hands of another human being the pain is unbearable.I hope the jerk that did this is punished to the max. Please pray for our family.

I hope when they find out who done this, that they pay dearly for what they have done. Mike was a great guy. God bless his family. I hope you get a cell with big Bubba.

I knew Micheal very well, maybe not as good as others but good enough. Myself I do not think it was drug related, although I may be wrong. I think it was a case of being at the wrong place at the wrong time. But to who ever done this may Batman's face be forever burned into the back of your mind for the rest of you dieing days...

Sunday morning i left the gorge to go get food and we drove up on the spot where the body was. there was already one car stoped with 2 guys in it on the phone so we continued to go. We assumed the man froze to death walking or somthing i did not see any blood on the front of his body. i assume he was shot from behind.

Michael was my cousin. He was a best friend to my sister and me. One of the best people I have ever known in my life. He appreciated life and was a gift from God to our family. I'm also pretty sure it wasn't drug related. He was a great guy. He will be missed dearly.

Who are we to judge what happened in this horrific situation! I knew Michael in school. He was a GREAT guy, very sweet and caring. So for everyone on here who is jumping to conclusions, step back and think about what you would do if this were someone you loved or cared about!!!

I used to know Micheal well. We dated a very while back. He has always been a good guy with a loving wife Stacy and a beautiful baby. I haven't seen him in a while, but I'm pretty sure it's not drug related. I would never think of him like that. But what do I know. It's been a coulple of years since I've seen him. I will miss him and he and his family are in my thoughts.

Im not saying this was drug related, because I didnt know this young man,sad regardless. In this day and age we CANT trust even our on family member's,especially if there's drug's involved, people will just as soon kill you as to look at you if they think you have more then a couple dollars in your pocket. We as a community need to take a stand on DRUGS,if you see suspicious activity REPORT it,if you suspect your children is using drug's REPORT them, get them help,we cant turn our head and hope for the "best" or assumed that its just a phase. Its come to our we have to stay inside with our doors locked, its getting where our children are better off home schooled. My prayers are with this young mans family.
