KSP Probing Death Of Man In Burned Out Car

WARREN COUNTY, KY -- Kentucky State Police are investigating the death of a Scottsville man found in a burned out car at a rest area on I-65 near Bowling Green.

THE KSP responded to a vehicle fire reported at the rest stop near the 29 mile marker on the southbound side of the interstate shortly after 11 p.m. Friday night.

The Warren County Coroner says the victim is William Bruce Douglas. His body was found in the burned out car. The exact cause of the death is being investigated.

KSP Detective Forrest Winchester is in charge of the investigation. Other officers and agencies involved in the case are Sgt. Brenton Ford, Detective David West, Trooper Brian Gann, Trooper Matt Cardwell, Trooper Chad Smith, the Warren County Sheriff's Office, the Smiths Grove Fire Department, and Warren County Coroner Kevin Kirby.

    In the KSP Probing Death Of Man In Burned Out Car article the name of the man is William Bruce Dugas not William Bruce Douglas and the Sgt. name is Brandon Ford not Brenton Ford.
