Young EMT Killed In Crash

Another terrible loss for a central Kentucky community already reeling from the death of a teenager.
On Saturday morning, 25 year old Travis Fryman died after crashing his car on Jacksontown Road in Bourbon County.
The crash came just hours after Fryman attended the funeral for his friend Bobbey Rose, who was killed when his truck was hit by a train last Saturday.
Travis had just started working paramedic and firefighter.
Friends tell us Travis will receive full firefighters honors at his funeral.
His visitation is Monday night, from five until eight, at Central Baptist Church in Paris.
His funeral is Tuesday afternoon at one, also at the church.

Travis, you were such a special young man. I will always remember us talking "shop" when you were at the hospital picking up a patient to transfer somewhere else. You had a heart the size of Texas and always thinking of others. I remember you taking care of your grandparents with the most gentle of care, just like your mom and dad are doing now. I know our whole family will never forget you and we will support your family to help them get thru this. You always had time to talk to anyone and would be such a great friend. I know we have a special angel in heaven watching down on us and you are keeping our loved ones who have passed on entertained by your sense of humor and charm. Just know I love you and will try my best to be strong for Jamie Kay, because she is really having a rough time. Oh, yea don't forget you owe me the scanner numbers. You will always have a special place in my heart.

Travis was the most wonderful, caring, kind-hearted, silly, country boy that ever lived. He was one of my best friends in the world, always looking out for me no matter what. I could not have asked for anyone better to be such a big part of my life. Travis will forever remain in my heart and all of his crazy stories will always bring me joy and laughter. I love you and miss you, my best man!!!!

I was almost Travis' aunt by marriage... I knew Travis when he was a young boy, fighting cancer. It is hard to believe that someone like Travis who beat cancer, would die so tragically. I am so sorry this has happened to him and to his family.
