Corbin Police Arrest Woman On Drug Charges

CORBIN, KY -- Corbin police arrested a 27-year old female resident on drug charges Saturday in the parking lot of a local nightspot.

Authorities say Becky Maria Grubb of Corbin is in custody after officers responded to a minor traffic accident in the parking lot of Eldorado's in South Corbin. Grubb's vehicle had struck another car and she was trying to keep the other subject from calling police, which aroused suspicions.

Investigating officers arrested Grubb on DUI charges and during the arrest found marijuana, controlled substances, money and drug paraphernalia in her vehicle. Grubb has been charged with trafficking and possession of marijuana and controlled substances.

Authorities investigating were Patrolman Coy Wilson and K9 Officer Glen Taylor Jr. Taylor is continuing investigation of the incident.

    Wow, another drug bust in my area; imagine that! Who would have thunk it? Not me, because people keep saying we don't have a drug problem. Yeah right!
