Mother Is Charged With Endangering The Welfare Of A Minor

A Pike County mom is accused of asking her unlicensed son to pick her up from a local bar.

The Appalachian News Express reports 35-year-old April Cluster asked her son to pick her up at the Land Mark Inn early Saturday morning.

Pikeville police say the unlicensed teen was stopped after spinning the tires of the vehicle he was driving.

Police say the teen told them his younger brother was home alone and his mother was at the bar.

Cluster is charged with endangering the welfare of a minor.

Talk about careless! Its one thing to be careless with your own safety, but to be so careless with your own child's life. I hope she is punished harshly for her crime. If she treats her children this badly just imagine how she treats others around her.

Well, Carl, rather than put her own life at risk by driving home; she chose to put her child's life on the line and have him drive. Sorry excuse for a Mother if you ask me.
