Officials Hope Curfew Will Cutback On Crime

Officials in Madison County are concerned about the growing amount of juvenile crime, and hope a new proposal will help.

Berea City Officials are considering an ordinance that would put a curfew on anyone under 18.

They say it's not intended to get teens in trouble with the law, rather to keep them out of it.

Minors would be exempt from the curfew if they're heading home from work or a school activity, or with an adult authorized by their parent.

Good idea. It's always the kids that will abide by the curfew that cause all of the problems....(please read with intended sarcasm).
