Toy Safety Bill Introduced

After a series of toy recalls last year, state Senator Ernesto Scorsone says he wants to make sure parents are better informed about toy recalls.

Senator Scorsone says the cabinet needs to have a website where families and merchants can easily access a information on recalled toys.

Recall information is currently available at the federal level, but Senator Scorsone wants to help make it easily accessible at state level also.

If the bill passes, Kentucky would join 13 other states with similar legislation.

Yeah! You care so much for our children! What a joke! If you care so much for our children's safety, then pass tougher child abuse laws! Pass tougher penalties for those who kill & abuse our children! The fact is you & the rest of the lawmakers DO NOT CARE ABOUT OUR CHILDREN! They cannot vote, so they don't count! Take the woman just sentenced 24 years for killing 4 people (mostly children), that's 6 years per child which is a great miscarriage of justice! Do something worth wild & pass tougher laws to protect our children! Information is great, but it's not enough! I've contact my representatives to no aveil because they simply do not care about our children! It's ALL TALK & NO ACTION! That's the true story of our lawmakers, NO ACTION on the really important issues! You waste time on stupid bills & refuse to pass something that will make a difference in KY! PROTECT OUR CHILDREN from abuse and death!
