Driver Runs From Car After Hitting Fire Hydrant

Lexington Police searched early Thursday for the driver of a car who took off after crashing.

The car crashed into a fire hydrant and overturned on Della Drive, off Harrodsburg Road.

No water leaked from the hydrant, but the fire department was called to check it out.

Police think the driver was hurt because they found blood in the car.

Hit something, do damage, and run away. Sounds like an illegal driving with no insurance again.

As the man emerged from the vehicle he briefly stopped, raised his leg and urinated on the remains of the hydrant. Run, Driver, Run. See the Driver run.
