Trial Of Man Accused Of Three Carter Co. Murders To Be Moved

GRAYSON, Ky. (AP) - The trial of a Kenova, W.Va., man accused of killing a Carter County, Ky., woman and her two daughters will be moved.

Carter Circuit Judge Rebecca Phillips did not say on Monday where Robert Lee Drown's case will be heard.

Drown has pleaded not guilty to murder, arson and rape charges. The case involves the deaths of 31-year-old Jennifer Ison and her daughters, who were 10 and 3. Their bodies were found May 9 inside
their burned-out mobile home.

Phillips said the publicity the case has received in rural eastern Kentucky would make it difficult to find an impartial jury.

Drown's attorneys want the case moved to Lexington, Ky. Prosecutors are pushing for Johnson County, Ky.
