Cause Of Fire Released In Fatal Blaze

We now know the cause of a house fire last week that killed two people in Perry County.

49-year old Rufus Shepherd and 56-year old Mazie Shepherd died in their home on Highway 699 in the Leatherwood Community.

The home was a metal building that used to be a business.

State police officials say the cause of the fire was a coal stove that was not in proper working order.

I think that you have a great staff. You all do a wonderful job. You really cover in resting stories that makes you really want to set and listen to them. I really pleased on how quick you show school closings and more.
