Family Sifts Through Debris Of Deadly Fire

The family of a Scott County man, killed in a house fire, returned to the home on Friday to sift through the rubble.

66-year-old Arthur Talbert, Sr. Died Friday night in his home in the New Zion community of Scott County. The home was on Newtown Pike, near the Fayette County line.

Talbert's mother and sister made it out of the house, but Talbert was not able to be rescued.

Family members were at the home on Friday, trying to figure out what was able to be saved. They say they were there to see if any clothes were salvageable for the two women who escaped the flames.

Family members say they'll make it through this tough time by leaning on each other and on their faith.

Investigators now say a cigarette sparked the deadly fire.
