Escaped Inmate Turns Himself In

A Jessamine County inmate is back behind bars after he escaped from jail Friday afternoon.

Police say Greg Taylor had just been transported to the jail when he overpowered a guard and an officer and ran out the front door.
Taylor had been in jail for theft, unlawful taking and terroristic threatening.

Police tell us Taylor turned himself over to authorities around 9 p.m. Friday.

Taylor is now expected to face additional charges of escape.

    I think that when you let a prisoner escape you should lose your job!

    My mother in law was the guard that was hurt in this incident. I think that when you hurt a guard you should have to spend the rest of your life in jail!
