DanceBlue Raises $425,000

It looks like the efforts of a group of UK students have really paid off with the help of a well-known coach.
Around 500 students spent 24 hours dancing at Memorial Coliseum this weekend as part of the third annual "DanceBlue Marathon."
The event raised money for the UK Pediatric Oncology clinic, and the final totals are in. The students raised $425,000, which is nearly double last year's total.
In the final moments of the event, UK Basketball Coach Billy Gillispie pledged $10,000. He praised the toughness of
the children who are patients at the clinic, saying he wished he
was one-tenth as tough as the kids and their parents.

I don't care who gives the money for an event like this; they are all HEROES! Couldn't see a better area of UK getting the money. I'm a cancer surivor but fortunately, didn't have to deal with it as a child (and NO, I have never smoked or used tobacco). Thanks for dancing your you know what off and raising this money.
