Jessamine County Jail Escapee Arraigned Today

A Jessamine County inmate pleads not guilty in court Monday morning on new charges after escaping from jail.

Greg Taylor now faces charges of escape and assault on a corrections employee.

Last Friday, police say Taylor had been transported to the jail when he overpowered a guard and ran out the front door.

At the time, Taylor had been in jail for theft, unlawful taking and terroristic threatening.

Taylor turned himself over to police around 9 p.m. Friday. Taylor now faces charges of escape and assault on a correction employee.
