Open House Ceremony For Drug Treatment Center

After four years of planning and fundraising a new drug treatment center for women will soon become a reality in one eastern Kentucky community.

An open house celebration was held tonight for "Hope In The Mountains" in Prestonsburg.

The facility will serve as a home for up to nine women at a time. They will learn a variety of skills while they are they are working to overcome their addiction.

Four women are scheduled to check in when the center opens on Monday.
