Two People Injured When Gun Goes Off In Liquor Store

Police are still searching for someone who may have shot themselves when a gun went off at a liquor store in Lexington.

Emoployees tell us two men were hanging out in the "private club" area at the Clays Mill Shoppes Liquor Store on Delzan Place around 1:30 this morning.

They say they heard a loud "bang" and realized soemone has shot a gun. One worker says the owner told him he saw a gun in one of the mens waistband as they ran out of the store.

They think the bullet hit the concrete floor and fragments ricocheted hitting two people leaving minor scrapes.

Police haven't found the man with the gun yet. They have alerted area hospitals to be on the lookout for a man with a gunshot wound.
